Windows 8.1 Update 1 is first update package after its release which can be considered as Service Pack or Feature Pack for it. Update 1 for Windows 8.1 has included lots of such features which users wished from all over the world For example: title bar inclusion in Metro app, capability to pin metro apps, power option and search button on Start Screen, context menu for Start Screen tiles and many more.

Windows 8.1 is now featured OS which is best suited for both Desktop users and touch-enabled device users. Windows 8.1 Update (KB2919355) is a cumulative set of security updates, critical updates and updates. Update includes five update package to be installed to get Update 1 for Windows 8.1.

  • KB2938439

2. KB2919442 is a prerequisite for Windows 8.1 Update and should be installed before attempting to install KB2919355
