Minesweeper launches worldwide for Windows Phone

Windows Phone apps, games are somehow restricted in the U.S. locale only like the game Minesweeper, the ad-supported Xbox LIVE game was titled as English only. But now the Windows Phone team is seriously working hard to get more Xbox LIVE titles for Windows Phone worldwide. As per John Dongelmans, director of Xbox LIVE “It’s not that we don’t want to have worldwide consumer releases, But in some cases we face challenges due to feature availability and licensing restrictions.”

So now Minesweeper is launching as a free download worldwide (except Brazil and Korea). Enjoy it.
