Microsoft cooking ‘Wind’ (codename) as new UI for Windows 8

After so many changes, ups and downs in the Windows after XP, Microsoft is ready to bring Windows to a next level. This time we will see two separate interfaces for 32-bit and 64-bit.  The main interface of Windows 8 codenamed as “Wind” is going to be fully 3D and that’s for only 64-bit machine with around 170MB of video memory.
It will include some advance and improved features which can adapt as per user habits and will hibernate in around 3-6 secs only.  As per Winrumors (via windowsi8italia.com) Windows 8 will have minor version upgrade to 6.2 and in support to this NVIDIA just released its Quadro 265 driver having its kernel number as 6.2 with reference inclusion to Windows 8:

; NVIDIA Windows Vista / 7 / 8 (64 bit) Display INF file
DiskID1 = “NVIDIA Windows Vista / 7 / 8 (64 bit) Driver Library Installation Disk 1″
NVIDIA_WIN8 = “NVIDIA”

Microsoft is still not  sharing much of information about its next big release which Steve Ballmer already said that next Windows release will be company’s “riskiest product bet”. So just wait ‘n’ watch, there will much more interesting to come.
