Before you do, you need to prepare a 13 GB or larger USB flash drive and a Windows 10 ISO file or disc.

Step 1. Download, Install and launch AOMEI Partition Assistant. It will show you the main interface of this software. You can find the “Windows To Go Creator” at the left panel (as the following picture shows). Click it.

Step 2. You will open the Windows 8/10 To Go interface, and you can detect your external disk and click Refresh, then click Browse to find the Windows 10 ISO file or disc you prepared before, select it and click OK, then, click Proceed.
It will pop out a window which you should confirm that to continue, the program will delete all data on this USB drive and format it. If there is no question, click Yes, it will continue and start extracting the WIM file.
