As we all know that today’s users are using USBs and DVDs and need there data to be carried out in a portable form. This era of Computer is using USBs for all kind of purpose and also they need bootable USBs in order to do the Operating System installation in a very easy and handy manner. But this task of creating a bootable USB is a very tough and complicated. We used to some DOS like commands to do so like diskpart and sometimes 3rd party tools.
So if we want to install Operating System we need some bootable media for it and now Microsoft released Windows USB/DVD Download Tool which let us create bootable media directly from Windows 7 ISO image file in few minutes. Simply we can create bootable USB/DVD of Windows 7 by this Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool. I just downloaded the tool and checked it out. Lets have a look of the software, how we can create Windows 7 bootable USB in just few clicks.
Step 1: Choose the ISO file location by clicking Browse button or by simply typing the location of required Windows 7 ISO file.
Step 2: Choose the media type to backup the Windows 7 wither USb to copy to it or DVD for burning the ISO image over it by clicking on the appropriate buuton.
Step 3: Here I choosen USB as my media type. Select the USB device from the drop down menu.
Step 4: Finalizing the USB by formatting and then copying the Windows 7 files to it. This is the last and final step.
Step 5: Now your bootable USB device containing Windows 7 is ready to use for installation.
Note: In between we can stop the process by clicking the Start Over button and start a fresh process from step 1.
Also in the same way we can choose DVD as our media and insert a blank DVD and then burn the Windows 7 files on it.
