Aha, at last Acer Iconia W3 is available for preorder at Amazon.com & Staples.com in different versions. Being the first thinnest tablet supporting Windows 8, this tablet may become your first choice.

Acer Iconia W3 has a decent hardware outline. It is equipped with an Intel Atom Dual-Core 1.5 GHz CPU that overclocks to 1.8 GHz when needed, 2 GB of 800 MHz RAM and a 2MP front facing and rear facing camera along with an 8.1 inch 1280 x 800 resolution display (10-point multitouch).

Acer Iconia W3 provides other important features such as support for micro USB, micro HDMI, a headphone jack, an AC adapter jack, & a Micro SD card slot which can associate up to 32 GB of expandable memory. The battery on the unit stays up to eight hours and most importantly it comes with Microsoft® Office Home and Student 2013 so we can work on the go.

Both retailers provide a pre-order listing for the Acer Iconia W3 32 GB tablet at $379.99, and Amazon.com also provides a 64 GB model with a purchase price of $429.99. Even though Amazon shows shipments for orders given now will start going out after three to four weeks,but Staples.com shows a less shipment time, assuring that they will start going out in the middle of June.
