How to see Metro apps on taskbar in Windows 8.1 Update 1

Users who updated their Windows 8.1 with Update 1 which was released recently will be able to pin their Metro apps on taskbar. Earlier it was not possible to pint Windows Store apps to taskbar. Even Metro apps was not seen on taskbar when one open them. But Update 1 for Windows 8.1 brings the options to pin the Windows Store apps to taskbar and to see them when users open them.

How to see Windows Store apps or Metro apps on taskbar:

Go to desktop and open “Taskbar and Navigation properties” by right-clicking on Taskbar.

Check the Show Windows Store apps on the taskbar option. And its done. Now you’ll be able to see the Windows Store apps or Metro apps when you open them.

Other way to do the same is:

Move your mouse to right corner of your screen or press Windows Key + C to open Charms bar.

Go to Settings and click on Change PC Settings.

Now choose PC and devices. Click on Corner and edges.
