Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 as Release Preview available
Till now Internet Explorer 10 was only made available for Windows 8 but now Microsoft has decided to release IE 10 for Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit & 64-bit) and Windows Server 2008 R2 also. Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview has been made available for download for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
Windows Vista and Windows XP users will not be able to taste the experience of IE 10 and even the users who are using Windows 7 RTM will not be able to install it. In order to use Internet Explorer 10 Windows 7 users are required to install the Service Pack 1 prior of installing IE 10. In Windows 8IE 10 comes pre-installed so no need of worry for Windows 8 users. System requirements to be fulfilled before you start using IE 10:
- Processor: Computer with a 1 gigahertz (GHz) 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor.
- Operating system: Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit with Service Pack 1 (SP1) or higher | Windows Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) 64-bit
- Memory: 512 MB
- Hard drive space: Windows 7 32-bit—70 MB | Windows 7 64-bit—120 MB | Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit—200 MB
