Completely Remove WinRar from context menu & its customization

Recently we saw how to cascade WinRar’s context menu, and today we will see how to completely remove WinRar from context menu without using any registry editor. We can also customize the context menu of WinRar. Its just take few clicks.

  • Open WinRar.
  • Click on Options and then on Settings ( or simply press Ctrl + S ).
  • Now navigate to Integration Tab ( the Last one ).

Move to the Shell Integration section and Uncheck the Integrate WinRar into Shell. Now no more Context Menu from WinRar will appear on your PC.

In order to customize the Menu items of WinRar click on Context Menu Items and choose the one you want. You can also choose to show the icons or not by the option Icons in context menus. Stay tuned for more.
